In 2019, our collection of instruments expanded thanks to a gift from Lorenz Gadient to Wim and the project. His Viennese fortepiano, attributed to Johann Frenzel changed its home from Ingolstadt to Belgium. The instrument had been restored by Robert Brown in 2014. To the collection it ads a different color to that of the Fritz/Potvlieghe 1816/2019 fortepiano, taking the player and listener to the latest years of Beethoven with an open path to Schumann.
Compass : 6 octaves
